Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Entry-Level Bridge Structural Engineer to join our growing bridge group. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects across Idaho, including ITD, local agencies, and municipalities.

You will support multidisciplinary teams, perform structural design and analysis, and collaborate with clients to contribute to projects that benefit communities statewide.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Up to two years of experience; Idaho infrastructure exposure preferred.
• Experience in structural or bridge engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in structural/bridge software.
• Knowledge of AASHTO LRFD, AISC, ACI codes.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for bridges and related structures using structural/software tools.
• Assist in preparing plans, specifications, cost estimates, and reports for new construction and evaluations.
• Conduct site visits to understand project conditions and requirements.
• Communicate clearly with project teams and clients to support effective project delivery.
