Job summary

Republic Finance in Ohio is seeking an entry-level Assistant Branch Manager (ABM) to learn branch operations and grow into a Branch Manager role. The position offers an 18–24 month paid training period, relocation assistance for promotions, and the chance to originate new loan business while helping customers meet financial goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required (Business, Finance, Sales or related).
• 1 year or more of customer facing sales experience preferred.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance, and a satisfactory driving record.
• Must meet our acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products. Eligibility is based on a criminal background check conducted by the state’s department of insurance.
• Willingness and ability to relocate for promotion into a Branch Manager role. Full Relocation package is provided for moves more than 50 miles.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by originating new loan business and understanding their needs.
• Educate customers on lending services, credit improvement, and debt consolidation.
• Handle loan applications, closings, and processing insurance claims.
• Support Branch Manager with recruiting, training, and meeting sales goals.
• Assist with risk analysis and credit decisions as well as customer service responsibilities.
