Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts interviews to determine eligibility for assistance and reevaluates ongoing eligibility.
• Explains temporary assistance programs and reasons for need.
• Processes applications for financial assistance and diversions; explains client rights and responsibilities.
• Verifies data accuracy and consistency; substantiates information as needed.
• Calculates assistance plans and determines allowances for special items.
• Assesses education, work experience, and social functioning levels.
• Evaluates client employability and explores income sources.
