Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Chandler, AZ is hiring a Child Care Specialist (Behavior Technician) to support children aged 2–6 with autism in a center-based setting using the Early Start Denver Model and ABA. Entry-level role with paid training and opportunities to pursue RBT certification.

You will work full-time with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, receive comprehensive benefits, and access career progression through regular raises and promotions every three months as skills grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain and maintain RBT certification within six weeks of employment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and teamwork.
• Comfort using computers and tablets and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center setting.
• Follow individualized care plans created by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document each child’s progress using a computer or tablet.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team and share updates that support consistent, high-quality care.
• Participate in paid training for RBT certification and career progression opportunities.
