Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Child Care Specialist (Behavior Technician) to help children ages 2 to 6 learn, communicate, and grow through play using the Early Start Denver Model in a center setting.

This entry-level role offers paid training, with no prerequisite RBT certification, and opportunities for raises and promotions as you build skills. You will document progress and work with clinicians to support development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with RBT attestation or ability to obtain RBT within six weeks.
• Reliable transportation to training location and center, with dependable attendance.
• Clear verbal and written communication, teamwork and comfort using computers/tablets.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy to young children in a center setting.
• Follow care plans created by clinicians in behavior analysis, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
• Observe and document progress using a computer or tablet.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and share updates to support high-quality care.
• Participate in paid training for RBT certification and the career progression program.
