Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Universal Banker in NY, an entry-level role supporting sales, products and service activities in coordination with the customer service team. The goal is to foster customer relations and loyalty while helping increase sales to individual consumer clients.

The position is part-time at the NY-East Williamsburg location with a salary range shown for full-time and prorated for hours worked. Training will cover bank policies, processes, and compliant service delivery.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Retail banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customer.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively.
• Support branch sales/service activities at seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls to ensure safety and security of assets.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and escalate issues as needed.
