Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking an entry-level Universal Banker to assist in sales, products, and services with the customer service team. The role aims to foster customer loyalty and help increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities include assisting in basic account openings, resolving service issues, executing transactions, and referring opportunities to partners. You will participate in branch activities and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory procedures.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Retail banking or similar experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customers.
• Provide service delivery to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions per bank policies.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities from service transactions and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Support branch sales/service activities during seminars and campaigns.
