Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking an entry-level Automotive Technician (Junior Technician) in Missouri. The role involves performing inspections, basic-to-intermediate repairs, and maintenance under supervision to build diagnostic skills alongside experienced technicians.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of automotive shop experience or equivalent training.
• Follow procedures, torque specs, and safety standards.
• Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and escalate concerns.

Responsibilities

• Perform Multi-Point and Digital Vehicle Inspections documenting findings.
• Complete maintenance and entry-level repairs (oil, filters, batteries, tires, brakes).
• Handle tire mounting/dismounting, balancing, rotations, and related services.
• Perform basic diagnostics with guidance and escalate complex issues.
• Follow repair procedures and post-repair checks.
• Communicate findings to Store Managers and Service Advisors.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and comply with safety rules.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
