Sun Auto Tire & Service is hiring a Lube and Tire Technician in a full-time, entry-level role in Missouri. You will perform oil changes, tire services, and basic maintenance while learning from experienced team members. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and the ability to work with a diverse team in a busy automotive shop environment. Weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, safety-focused, and mechanically inclined.
• Willingness to learn basic automotive maintenance tasks.
• Ability to follow written procedures and store processes.
• Able to work with technicians, service advisors, and leaders.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.
• Flexibility to work weekends when needed.
• Must be 18+ years old.

Responsibilities

• Perform tire services: mounting, dismounting, balancing, rotations.
• Carry out oil changes and basic maintenance (fluids, wipers, bulbs, batteries, filters).
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections and repair orders accurately.
• Identify safety issues and communicate findings to the store.
• Conduct State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable under supervision.
• Keep shop and customer areas clean and ready for service.
• Transport customers and parts as directed.
• Follow safety PPE and environmental rules; report hazards.
