Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Erlanger, KY is seeking an entry-level automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on a fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil changes, tire work, basic repairs, and support more experienced techs as you learn.

Eligible candidates have at least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or automotive school coursework, a valid driver’s license, and the goal to pursue ASE certification within the first year.

Qualifications

• 6 months of auto maintenance experience or automotive school coursework.
• Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
• Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site role with no remote options.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair on newer vehicles.
• Oil and fluid services, tire changes, rotations, and basic repairs.
• Assist more experienced technicians as skills grow.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in a busy shop.
