Avis Budget Group in Buffalo, NY is hiring an automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on a fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and routine maintenance in a safety-focused shop environment.

This entry-level role offers on-the-job training, a path toward ASE certification, and opportunities to advance into higher‑level technician positions as you build experience with multiple brands.

Qualifications

At least 6 months auto maintenance experience or related coursework.
Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on fleet vehicles.
Oil and fluid services, tire changes and rotations, basic repairs.
Support senior technicians with diagnostics and repairs as skills grow.
Maintain a safe, quality-focused work environment to ensure vehicle availability.
