Avis Budget Group in East Elmhurst, NY is seeking an entry-level automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on our fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil and fluid services, tire changes, rotations, and routine maintenance with supervision from experienced techs.

Qualifications

• 6 months auto maintenance experience or automotive technical school coursework.
• Able to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair on fleet vehicles (oil/fluids, tires, basic repairs).
• Assist senior technicians with repairs and diagnostics as you develop skills.
• Support vehicle availability and safe, dependable rental experience.
