Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an entry-level automotive technician in Lexington, KY. You will perform preventive maintenance on our fleet, including oil changes, fluid services, tire changes, and basic repairs, while following safety standards.

You may assist senior technicians as your skills grow and gain exposure to a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across several brands. We offer on-the-job training, potential ASE certification support, and opportunities for advancement as you develop

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude or prior automotive maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Basic computer skills including typing and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet: oil changes, fluids, tires, basic repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards.
• Assist senior technicians or take on more tasks as skills grow.
• Support across a diverse fleet of newer vehicles from multiple brands.
