Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Kenner, Louisiana is hiring an entry-level automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on our fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, and other routine tasks in a safety-conscious shop environment, with room to learn and grow.

Qualifications

6 months of auto maintenance experience or automotive tech school coursework.
Valid Driver’s License.
Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
On-site position; remote work not possible.
Lift up to 50 pounds; stand, bend, reach, and drive as required.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and light repair on fleet vehicles (oil, fluids, tires, basic repairs).
Assist experienced technicians with additional repairs and diagnostics as you learn.
Support vehicle availability and safe, dependable rental experience.
