Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Kentucky to perform repairs and maintenance on a fleet of newer vehicles. You will handle oil, brakes, tires, and routine service, with supervision from senior technicians as you grow ASE credentials and skills.

The role requires 2+ years of auto repair experience or automotive coursework, ASE certification, and the ability to work onsite. Benefits include training, PTO, and insurance options.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least 1 ASE certification, with the ability to obtain 2 additional ASE certifications within the first year.
• Familiar with ASE certification areas: Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, Light Vehicle/Diesel.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles.
• Oil and fluid services, tire repairs, brake work, suspension repairs, and other routine maintenance or warranty-related repairs.
• Assist senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work.
