Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Automotive Mechanic (B Tech) in Erlanger, Kentucky. You will perform essential repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision to keep customers on the road.

Requirements include 2+ years of auto repair experience, ASE certification (with potential to obtain more), a complete tool set, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. This is an on-site role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of professional auto repair experience or automotive coursework with certifications.
• At least one ASE certification, with ability to obtain two more in the first year.
• Must have a complete set of tools for automotive repair.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate in a loud shop environment.
• 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
• On-site presence required; remote work not possible.
• OEM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential mechanical repairs and maintenance on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles with minimal supervision.
• Support senior technicians with more complex diagnostic and repair work as you build skills.
• Maintain vehicle reliability and safety to minimize downtime and ensure vehicles are customer-ready.
