Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring an entry-level Automotive Technician in East Elmhurst, NY. You will perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on a fleet of newer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and routine services in a safe shop environment.

We value hands-on learners who want ASE certification and career growth. This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds; training and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 6 months auto maintenance experience or completion of an automotive technical school program
• Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
• Regular, on-site presence required; no remote work
• Comfortable in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair on our fleet of newer vehicles
• Oil and fluid services, tire changes/rotations, basic repairs and other routine maintenance
• Assist more experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics as you develop skills
