Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring entry-level automotive technicians in Buffalo, NY to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on a fleet of newer vehicles. This role offers hands-on experience across multiple brands and a path toward ASE certification as you grow your skills in a supportive shop environment.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or automotive technical school coursework.
Valid Driver's License is required.
Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Position requires on-site work and cannot be performed remotely.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on fleet vehicles (oil/fluids, tire changes, rotations, basic repairs).
Assist more experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics as you develop skills.
