Avis Budget Group in Kenner, LA is seeking an entry-level automotive technician to join our quick-turn, hands-on shop team. You will perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on our fleet of newer vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and basic diagnostics, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months auto maintenance experience or automotive technical school coursework.
• Able to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
• Comfortable in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on the fleet, including oil and fluid services, tire changes and rotations, and basic repairs.
• Assist more experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics as experience grows.
• Support vehicle availability to ensure a safe, dependable rental experience for customers.
