Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager in Kentucky to lead a team of 50-100 hourly associates in a fast-paced fulfillment center environment. This entry-level, full-time role focuses on motivating, mentoring, and managing staff to meet safety, quality, attendance and performance goals.

You will work onsite across various facilities, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. The company provides extensive training and opportunities to grow as a people leader.

Qualifications

• BachelorA0s or MasterA0s degree with all requirements completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a BachelorA0s or MasterA0s degree in Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering or another related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Shift patterns may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Oversee truck deliveries, handle and sort packages using pallet jacks, operate PIT equipment.
• Environment with varying noise levels.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and perform bending and reaching.
• Climb and descend stairs when applicable.
