Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Kentucky is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly Associates in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will mentor, motivate and manage staff to meet safety, quality and performance goals, with extensive training provided to become an exceptional people leader.

As a people manager, you will ensure the team has the tools needed to succeed and maintain high levels of safety, attendance and performance at work. This is a full-time, on-site role in Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree completed between May 2024 and August 2026.
• Strong communication skills and customer service abilities.
• Currently enrolled in or graduated with a related field (Supply Chain/Business/Engineering).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Oversee operations to ensure safety, quality, attendance and performance.
• Work independently in an autonomous warehouse environment.
• Occasionally work nights, weekends, and holidays; typical 4-on/4-off pattern.
• Operate pallet jacks and PIT equipment where applicable; assist with deliveries.
• Manage high-volume, fast-paced fulfillment floor activities.
