Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking an engineering intern for its Layton, Utah facility. This onsite role involves applying basic engineering principles to solve complex problems with a team of engineers, and managing small projects from preliminary design through manufacturing and commissioning.

Applicants must be enrolled in an ABET-accredited engineering program, possess strong English communication skills, and be able to multi-task under pressure.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an ABET accredited college or university engineering program.
• Strong customer service and written/oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of engineering principles to solve complex problems with a team of engineers.
• Manage small projects from preliminary design through detail engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning.
• Communicate effectively, maintain good attendance, and coordinate with technicians, millwrights, machinists, engineers and managers.
• Assist with on-site production tasks and daily project responsibilities as assigned by a mentor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
