Job summary

Janicki Industries is seeking an experienced Project Engineer Lead for our Layton, Utah facility to guide a team in delivering complex aerospace components on schedule and within budget. You will act as a technical expert and primary liaison with customers to resolve issues and drive proactive solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least five years of manufacturing experience, with strong leadership, knowledge of composites, and familiarity with ITAR/EAR

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Commercial/military aerospace experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience is required.
• Strong working knowledge of composite materials.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and CNC tools is advantageous.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to execute project scopes.
• Manage engineering projects to produce deliverables within fixed cost and schedule constraints.
• Monitor and report project financial performance.
• Communicate with customers to establish requirements and provide project updates.
• Direct design and engineering reviews, and work order preparation.
