Job summary

AirbusAmericas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering professional to support final assembly of aircraft, validate workbook modifications, assist with tooling, and help troubleshoot and configure parts.

Join a multi-function team on the Airbus Way, collaborating with production and MFT to produce state-of-the-art aircraft, manage changes, quality checks, and continuous improvement, onsite at Brookley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology or equivalent years of experience is required.
• 0–2 years of experience in Aerospace, preferably in an Aerospace Final Assembly Line.
• Internal candidates showing the ability to be a leader in your current role is preferred.
• Knowledge of aerospace processes and methods.
• Knowledge of common aerospace tools (SAP, Catia, Enovia).
• Familiarity with the American aviation market.
• Knowledge about aircraft structures, systems, electrical, and/or cabin installations.
• Knowledge of rules for aircraft design and manufacturing.
• Travel required: Travel abroad for work and training is possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production.
• Investigate workbook modification and submit changes to Change Managers.
• Creation of rework orders.
• Lead troubleshooting meetings.
• Establish LDD’s for RNC’s with Operation Leader agreement.
• Handling of non conformities within the assigned area.
• Ensuring proper support with MES (Issues/Snags).
• Establish/verify the technical content of BOI’s, Workbooks, and RNC and give feedback to responsible actors.
