Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional to support Non-Conformity (NC) handling and shopfloor improvements at the Mobile facility.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal customers and international teams to ensure quality and efficiency in aerospace assembly processes. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 3+ years in aerospace, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology or equivalent years of experience is required.
• Must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Aerospace, preferably in an Aerospace Final Assembly Line.
• Ability to establish and maintain a good relationship with internal customers.
• Ability to work in an international team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Support identifying Non-Conformities (NCs) on the shopfloor.
• Assist assessing the need to create NCs and NC Notifications.
• Help fill NC forms with relevant information and assist solving the NC.
• Follow up the NC process and push for resolution.
• Identify issues in production and elevate to Work Prep, Line Balancing, Maintenance, MAP & OSW or other support roles.
• Assist in analyzing industrial systems and processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support Work Improvement Proposals (WIP) and lean elimination of waste.
• Assist with process validation forms (PVF) and failure analysis (FA).
