Job summary

Airbus US Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, AL is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I (2nd Shift) to join the ME A220 department. You will work in a multi-function team to answer technical questions on final assembly, validate workbook modifications, assist with tooling, troubleshooting, and ensure action plans for outstanding items in Methods.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Aerospace/Manufacturing Engineering or related field and 0–2 years in aerospace, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
• 0–2 years of experience in Aerospace, preferably in a Final Assembly Line.
• Airframe and Powerplant Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of aerospace processes and methods.
• Knowledge of tools such as SAP, CATIA, Enovia.
• Familiarity with the American aviation market.
• Knowledge of aircraft structures, systems, electrical, and/or cabin installations.
• Intercultural experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production.
• Investigate workbook modification and submit changes to Change Managers.
• Creation of rework orders.
• Handling of non conformities within the assigned area.
• Ensure MES content is accurate (Issues/Snags).
• Establish/verify the technical content of BOI’s, Workbooks, and RNC and give feedback.
• Exchange information regularly with MFT for a one-team concept.
• Analyze status and create reports.
• Manage continuous improvement measures with recurring routines.
• Perform other duties as assigned and support projects.
• Conduct independent research and develop solutions to routine problems.
