Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Summer Intern for our Mobile, AL site. You will support the launch and industrialization of a new production line, working with experienced engineers to implement best practices and resolve technical issues.

You will develop rework instructions, coordinate with the Design Office and MAP, and contribute to productivity improvements while maintaining engineering documentation and safety standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Aerospace).
• Experience with CAD software is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work on cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop rework instructions for non-conformities and coordinate with design teams.
• Lead and support projects to improve production productivity and processes.
• Maintain and update manufacturing processes to ensure operational efficiency.
