Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Engineer to support the A220 final assembly, validate workbook changes, and assist with tooling and troubleshooting on the production floor.

You will participate in nonconformity research, establish plans for outstanding actions, and collaborate with the Methods Department while growing through global development programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years aerospace experience, preferably in Final Assembly.
• Internal candidates preferred for leadership in the current role.
• Knowledge of aerospace processes and tools.
• Familiarity with the American aviation market.
• U.S. employment eligibility; Airframe and Powerplant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to production.
• Investigate workbook modifications and submit changes to Change Managers.
• Creation of rework orders.
• Lead troubleshooting meetings.
• Establish LDD’s for RNC’s with Operation Leader agreement.
• Handling of nonconformities within the area.
• Establish/verify the technical content of BOI’s, Workbooks, and RNC.
• Exchange information with MFT to ensure a one-team concept.
• Analyze status and create reports.
• Manage continuous improvement measures with recurring routines.
• Support projects outlined by management.
• Perform training and participate in development programs.
