Job summary

ViziRecruiter, LLC. is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Accounting Assistant in Hastings, Minnesota, to support the finance team with daily operations in Accounts Payable and Receivable. Ideal for those new to accounting, this role offers hands-on experience with financial transactions, ERP systems, and a strong foundation for future careers. Other responsibilities include monitoring overdue accounts and assisting month-end activities. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, or data entry roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
• Record and process financial transactions, including customer invoices, vendor invoices, and employee expense reports.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in the accounting ERP system.
• Monitor and follow up on overdue customer accounts.
• Support month-end close activities as needed.
