Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Internships or part-time work are a plus but not required.
• Eagerness to learn, growth mindset, and coachability to take feedback.
• Curiosity about technology and AI and willingness to use new tools.
• Comfort with Microsoft Excel or willingness to develop quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical problem-solving and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial close with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations under guidance.
• Assist in payroll processing for semi-monthly or bi-weekly cycles.
• Analyze payroll expense, report trends, and support forecasting.
• Work with AI and technology to automate workflows and improve reporting.
• Prepare simple reports and respond to ad hoc questions across the business.
• Investigate and reconcile exceptions while learning to resolve issues.
• Document processes and suggest improvements; collaborate with Finance and other departments.
