Job summary

Machinify is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead end-to-end AP, ensure timely vendor payments, strong controls, and a superior vendor experience from our La Grange, KY office. After training, hybrid work is available.

You will manage a team, oversee vendor data, close monthly, support audits, and collaborate with Accounting, FP&A and Procurement to scale AP operations in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience, including 1+ year of experience leading a team or AP function.
• Strong understanding of AP operations, internal controls, payment processing, and audit requirements.
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.
• ERP experience preferred; Sage Intacct and Ramp experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, approvals, payments, vendor maintenance, and reconciliations.
• Manage and develop a team of AP professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Oversee vendor master data, resolve complex vendor disputes, and optimize payment terms while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Oversee weekly payment runs while ensuring controls and fraud prevention measures are in place.
• Lead AP month-end close, including accruals, vendor reconciliations, and aged payables reviews.
