Job summary

Machinify, a leading healthcare intelligence company, is seeking an entry-level Accountant on the LaGrange campus. You’ll support semi-monthly payroll, month-end close, and compensation analyses, while helping design automated workflows using AI tools. This hybrid role requires three in-office days and offers a clear path for growth.

You’ll work closely with the Finance team to build reports, analyze costs, and improve processes, developing strong foundations for a long-term accounting career.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Assist in semi-monthly or bi-weekly payroll processing data gathering.
• Analyze payroll expenses and report trends and variances.
• Collaborate with AI tools to build automated accounting workflows.
• Pull data, build simple reports, respond to ad hoc questions.
• Investigate, reconcile, and resolve exception-based transactions.
• Document processes and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance and other departments.
