Job summary

Machinify is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the end-to-end AP function in the La Grange, KY area. This role partners with Accounting, FP&A, Procurement, and stakeholders to drive growth, improve processes, and scale AP operations.

You will own the full AP cycle, manage a team, oversee vendor data, and ensure strong controls and timely payments. Hybrid work may be offered after training, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounts payable or accounting experience including leadership.
• Strong understanding of AP operations, controls, payment processing and audit.
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the full accounts payable cycle: processing, approvals, payments, vendor maintenance, reconciliations.
• Lead and develop a team of AP professionals with coaching and feedback.
• Manage vendor master data, disputes, and optimize payment terms while maintaining vendor relationships.
• Oversee weekly payment runs with appropriate controls and fraud prevention.
• Drive automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
• Support month-end close, accruals, and aged payables reviews.
• Ensure compliance, contract-to-pay understanding, and cross-functional collaboration.
