Commonwealth of Kentucky's Transportation Cabinet—Department of Highways in Boyle County, Danville, KY—seeks a Highway Technician Assistant I. The role performs maintenance tasks, operates equipment, and supports road construction activities.

The position is full-time in the executive branch with potential overtime and a requirement for a valid CDL within 12 months, plus safety trainings and certifications.

• Experience, training or skills: NONE
• Substitute Education for Experience: NONE
• Substitute Experience for Education: NONE
• Special requirements: Must be 18+, valid driver's license; within 12 months obtain Class B CDL; complete First Aid, Snow and Ice Training, Traffic Control/Flagger and OSHA 10

Responsabilidades

• Operate single axle dump trucks.
• Patch potholes in bridge decks during summer using jackhammers and tools.
• Form, pour, and finish concrete in various applications.
• Operate dump trucks with snow plow and salt spreader in winter.
• Flagging for traffic control during operations.
