Qualifications

• High school graduation required.
• Two years of construction or highway maintenance experience.
• Associate degree may substitute for two years of experience.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license; Class B CDL preferred; KYTC Academy within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assist with beginning level engineering related technical tasks.
• Operate small single axle dump trucks.
• Flag traffic for highway crew.
• Assist in brush cutting and controlling operations around structures and highways.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance work on equipment.
• Operate dump truck with snowplow and salt spreader.
