Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe environment, deter theft, and represent the Ross brand at store entrances. The role focuses on visible presence, adherence to policy, and collaboration with Store Leadership.

You will monitor behavior, respond to safety issues, train Associates on shortage reduction, and support Loss Prevention initiatives while delivering excellent Customer service.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent Customer service skills.
• Proven ability to effectively resolve conflict.
• Must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations for security positions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrances/exits and sales floor for potential theft indicators.
• Gather theft indicators and communicate with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention.
• Assist in implementing Loss Prevention directives and shortage minimization.
• Trains and educates Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Represent the Ross brand with professional appearance and conduct.
