Job summary

Keystone Custom Homes, a respected private homebuilder, seeks a Land Development Coordinator to move projects from concept to shovel-ready sites by managing plans, permits, utility work, and approvals.

The Entitlement Coordinator works with civil engineers, municipal staff, and DEP/NPDES reviewers to keep submissions on schedule and ensure permits remain in good standing for multiple communities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in land development, entitlements, permitting, municipal planning, or civil engineering support.
• Strong knowledge of land development approval processes, including SALDO and zoning/subdivision.
• Familiarity with DEP and NPDES stormwater permitting and erosion control requirements.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills with deadline tracking across projects.
• Clear written and verbal communication with engineers, municipal officials, and utility providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate zoning, subdivision, and land development submissions and track review comments and hearing dates.
• Prepare and track permit applications with DEP and NPDES reviews, working with engineers and county districts.
• Monitor permit compliance, renewals, and reporting requirements, including termination filings as phases complete.
• Manage utility coordination for water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecom services and installations.
• Track financial security and development agreements, including reductions and releases.
• Maintain entitlement schedules and flag risks to approvals early, keeping project files organized.
