Job summary

Keystone Custom Homes, a respected private homebuilder, seeks an organized Land Development Coordinator to support our Land Development Department. This role moves projects from approved concept to shovel-ready sites by managing plans, permits, utility work, and approvals for each new community.

You will collaborate with civil engineers, municipal staff, DEP, and utility providers to keep submissions on schedule and ensure permits stay in good standing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in land development, entitlements, permitting, municipal planning, or civil engineering support.
• Familiarity with the land development approval process, including SALDO.
• Experience with DEP and NPDES stormwater permitting and erosion/sediment control requirements.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills with ability to track deadlines across multiple projects.
• Clear written and verbal communication with engineers, officials, and utility providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate zoning, subdivision, and land development submissions, tracking review comments, conditions, and hearing dates.
• Prepare and track DEP/NPDES permit applications and reviews with engineers and the county district.
• Monitor permit compliance, renewals, and reporting, including termination filings as phases complete.
• Manage utility coordination for water, sewer, gas, electric, and telecom, including service applications and design reviews.
• Track financial security (bonds and LOCs) and development agreements, including reductions and releases.
• Maintain entitlement schedules for each project and flag risks to deadlines early.
• Keep organized project files for plans, permits, agreements, and agency correspondence.
• Provide admin support to the Land Development team, including agendas and meeting notes.
