Job summary

Stonefield Engineering & Design in New York, NY seeks an Entitlement / Permit Manager to lead residential, commercial, and mixed-use land development entitlements from inception through approval. You will coordinate with local agencies, prepare applications, and manage permit schedules.

Candidates should have 3+ years in land development entitlements, strong knowledge of NY/NJ regulations, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office and project tracking tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in land development entitlements or municipal planning.
• Understanding of NY/NJ land use regulations and approval processes.
• Experience preparing and tracking permit applications across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead entitlement and permitting process from inception through approval for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with local, county, state agencies.
• Coordinate pre-application meetings and represent clients at hearings and agency reviews.
• Develop and maintain permit schedules, tracking submissions, reviews, approvals, and expirations.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, attorneys, environmental consultants, and surveyors to ensure timely submissions.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise on impact to timelines and strategies.
