Job summary

Women In Need (Win) is seeking an Entitlement Specialist to help families secure public benefits and achieve housing stability. You will act as a liaison with government agencies, assist with applications, provide financial education, and support clients through the entitlement process.

Strong organizational skills and documentation discipline are essential for working with diverse populations, including English/Spanish speakers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Experience navigating entitlement systems and government benefits.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Screen clients for eligibility and connect to benefits programs.
• Assist clients with benefit applications, recertifications, and appeals.
• Serve as liaison with agencies including HRA, Social Security, and other providers.
• Escort clients to appointments and advocate for timely access to services.
• Provide financial education and benefits planning for rehousing.
• Maintain accurate client records using CARES and Win systems.
• Facilitate weekly group sessions educating clients on resources and benefits.
• Prepare reports and ensure program documentation compliance.
