Job summary

Gersh is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of Client Accounting for the Below‑the‑Line (BTL) / Production division, supporting film and television clients.

You will supervise a small team and partner with agents, clients, and internal accounting teams to ensure timely payments, accurate trust activity, and robust reporting. The role emphasizes process improvements, controls, and compliance within a high‑volume production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years in accounting, client accounting, trust accounting, accounts receivable, or entertainment accounting.
• 2+ years of people management or team leadership preferred.
• Experience managing a high-volume flow of client payments and invoicing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day Client Accounting for BTL/Production division supporting film and television clients.
• Supervise Client Accounting Coordinator and Assistant; mentor, train, manage workload and performance.
• Oversee invoicing, payments, collections, payroll onboarding, trust activity, and client reporting.
• Ensure accurate processing of client payments; maintain Trust accounts and compliance.
• Escalate payment and account issues with agents, clients, and stakeholders.
• Monitor productivity, service levels, and workflow; ensure deadlines and client expectations.
