Job summary

Gersh is seeking a Client Accounting Assistant in Beverly Hills to support the Below-the-Line/Production department and float across the team to ensure day-to-day workflow runs smoothly. This role offers growth potential toward a Client Trust Accountant position.

You will assist with invoices, payments, client check-ins, and file maintenance while handling bookings and other tasks. Strong communication and detail orientation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Basic payroll and accounting knowledge or experience (entry level) required.
• Production accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in finance and accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Meticulous and accurate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and editing invoices.
• Assist in processing payments (copies, scans, mailing checks and pay stubs).
• Assist with post-job check-ins with clients.
• Maintain client files and start work documents (I9, W9, W4).
• Assist with entering bookings and various tasks assigned by Agents as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Learn the needs of the department and support where appropriate.
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned.

About The Role

We are seeking a Client Accounting Assistant for the Below-the-Line/ Production department. This role will support our Below-the-Line agents while also floating across the department to fill in the gaps as needed on day-to-day matters. There is an amazing opportunity for growth with potential to become a Client Trust Accountant.

• Assist in creating and editing invoices.
• Assist in processing payments including (making copies, scanning, mailing out checks and pay stubs, etc.).

• Assist with entering bookings and various tasks assigned by Agent Assistants as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Learn the needs of the department and support where appropriate.

Compensation

$21/hour + Full Benefits
