Job summary

The Gersh Agency is seeking an experienced Client Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day client accounting for the Below-the-Line (BTL)/Production division supporting film and television clients.

The role includes supervising a Client Accounting Coordinator and Assistant, managing invoicing, trust accounts, payroll onboarding, and collections, while partnering with agents and production teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years accounting, client accounting, trust accounting, or entertainment accounting experience.
• 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and NetSuite; understands production workflows and payroll.
• Experience in high-volume client accounting and trust accounting environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Client Accounting for the BTL/Production division.
• Supervise a Client Accounting Coordinator and Assistant; provide coaching and career development.
• Oversee invoicing, payment processing, collections, payroll onboarding, and trust activity.
• Ensure accurate client reporting and timely payments; maintain compliance and controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Production stakeholders to optimize processes.
