Job summary

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams. The Technical Consultant role partners with Customer Activation and Account Management to design financial solutions via Ramp and partner integrations.

You’ll act as the technical and financial SME, shaping the roadmap with Product and Engineering, and guiding customers from onboarding through activation and expansion. You’ll define success criteria, educate customers on Ramp capabilities, and drive scalable implementations across ERP

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, engineering, finance, business, or related field.
4+ years in technical consulting, solutions engineering, implementation, or similar.
Familiarity with ERP systems and finance/accounting workflows.
Comfort with APIs, integration logic, and system architecture.
Strong communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

Act as a technical advisor to customers and Ramp teams during high-value implementations.
Assess requirements and propose scalable ERP/API integration solutions.
Collaborate with onboarding and implementation leads for faster value.
Explain APIs and integration concepts to finance and operations stakeholders.
Collaborate with Sales, Product and Engineering to influence roadmap.
Troubleshoot integration blockers without writing code.
Contribute to scalable internal docs and tooling.
Represent Ramp externally with conviction about capabilities.
