Job summary

Avalara is seeking a Support Tax Technologist to bridge product vision and enterprise customer needs, delivering tax technology expertise and ERP integration guidance.

You will collaborate with large enterprise customers, translate tax requirements into scalable tech solutions, and partner with Product and Engineering to drive improvements while supporting post-implementation hypercare and customer success.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with enterprise customers to assist with integration challenges and compliance objectives.
• Translate tax requirements into configurable technology solutions.
• Deliver expert support for Avalara enterprise ERP integrations and business workflows.
• Handle escalated issues, lead root cause analysis, and coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Design scalable compliance architectures that embed compliance into customers' systems.
