Avalara is seeking a Support Tax Technologist to bridge product vision with customer needs across large enterprises. You’ll apply deep tax-tech knowledge to configure scalable solutions within ERP, eCommerce, and billing ecosystems.

You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, and Support to reduce friction, drive adoption, and enable long-term customer success through coaching, training, and knowledge sharing. This role emphasizes AI readiness and cross‑functional leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, CS or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in tax technology implementation, ERP integrations, or tech support within the compliance automation industry
• Experience with enterprise ERP systems and cloud-based SaaS
• Experience with tax and compliance technology solutions (sales/use tax, VAT, exemptions)

Responsabilidades

• Engage with enterprise customers and partners to assist with integration challenges and compliance automation objectives
• Provide subject matter expertise for Avalara solutions and integrations
• Translate tax requirements into configurable and scalable technology solutions
• Deliver expert support for Avalara enterprise ERP integrations and workflows
• Lead root cause analysis and coordinate internal stakeholders for timely resolution
• Collaborate with customers to identify technical challenges and implement long-term solutions
• Design scalable compliance architectures embedded in ERP, eCommerce, billing and financial systems
• Provide customer feedback to Product and Engineering to influence direction
• Support post-implementation hypercare and handoff for long-term success
• Lead customer-facing training programs and enablement sessions
• Drive internal enablement through weekly office hours for GSO teams
• Develop technical documentation and knowledge resources
