Job Summary

The Workday Developer is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of financial and HCM applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the Workday cloud ERP platform. Must have strong financials and HCM experience in one or more ERP implementations and experience with at least one Workday Finance and HCM implementation, with solid skills in the Workday toolset, while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security, and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

• Gather business requirements from our Business Community & management and convert them into technical specifications, including reports creation/analysis for enhanced business analysis.
• Manage and build reports and conduct data analysis.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate actions for break/fix issues.
• Configure and support Workday Finance and/or other modules like Customers, Projects, Timekeeping, or Payroll.
• Maintain data integrity through all data transformations and transmissions.
• Participate in and support prototypes and demonstrations of new functionality.
• Support bi-annual upgrade processes.
• Act as primary support contact with Workday, managing communications with Workday Support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, technical business analysis, or financial reporting.
• Workday Pro certification highly preferred.
• Strongly prefer a background in finance, ERP, or Workday Financials.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university.
• Experience implementing or supporting Workday Finance and modules like Customers, Projects, Payroll, or Timekeeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Data Quality and Data Transformation using Workday Prism Analytics.
• Functional awareness in managing Workday VNDLY, Adaptive Planning integrations.
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce) with Boomi is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive with a sense of ownership and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to learn new functions and technologies.
• Expertise in Workday technologies like Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Report Writer.
