Job Summary

The Workday Developer is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of financial and HCM applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the Workday cloud ERP platform. Must have strong financials and HCM experience in one or more ERP implementations and experience with at least one (1) Workday Finance and HCM implementation with solid skills in the Workday toolset while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security, and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

• Gather business requirements from our Business Community & management and convert them to technical specifications, including report creation/analysis for enhanced business analysis.
• Manage and build reports and conduct data analysis.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate actions for break/fix issues.
• Configure and support Workday Finance and/or other modules like Projects, Timekeeping, or Payroll.
• Maintain data integrity through all data transformations and transmissions.
• Support prototypes and demonstrations of new functionality.
• Support the bi-annual upgrade processes.
• Act as the primary support contact with Workday, managing communications with Workday Support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, technical business analysis, or financial reporting.
• Workday Pro certification is highly preferred.
• Strongly prefer a background in finance or ERP/Workday Financials.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college/university.
• Experience implementing/supporting Workday Finance and related modules like Projects, Payroll, or Timekeeping.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data quality skills.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, VNDLY, Adaptive Planning, and third-party SaaS integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Boomi).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive with a sense of ownership and attention to quality.
• Willing to learn new technologies and functions.
• Expertise in Workday technologies such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Report Writer.
