Job summary

Busey Bank is seeking a Business Systems Manager to lead critical business systems, align technology with strategic goals, and drive reliable delivery across the enterprise.

You will partner with vendors, business lines, and stakeholders to implement scalable solutions, manage budgets, ensure security and regulatory compliance, and improve client experience through data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business or related field.
• 4-6 years in senior technology operations or infrastructure.
• 4 years with core banking solutions (Jack Henry or FIS).
• 3+ years with core banking, integration or digital solutions (e.g., jXchange, 4|sight, Q2).
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar solutions.
• Proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Power BI; AI/automation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of key business systems including enhancements, releases, upgrades, integrations, and production support.
• Support day-to-day processing needs for internal partners and external clients while advancing strategic initiatives.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting on uptime, defects, backlog, release readiness, and service quality.
• Approve and oversee procedures for system management activities and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate integrations across internal and external platforms, data flows, and vendor systems.
• Plan implementation, training, adoption, and ongoing support for enterprise systems.
• Evaluate ROI and guide cost-effective solutions delivering measurable business value.
