Job summary

Busey is seeking a Business Systems Manager to lead critical systems and technology solutions that support operational efficiency, client experience, risk management, and scalable growth. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, MIS, Finance, or related area, or equivalent experience.
• 4-6 years of senior technology operations or senior infrastructure support experience.
• Experience with core banking solutions such as Jack Henry or FIS.
• Preferred 3+ years of experience with core banking, integration, or digital solutions (e.g., jXchange, 4|sight, Q2 Digital Banking, Synergy, Teller Capture, Centrix, Terafina, Verafin).
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel and Power BI; familiarity with AI and automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of key business systems, including enhancements, releases, upgrades, integrations, and production support.
• Support day-to-day business processing needs for internal partners and external clients while advancing strategic initiatives.
• Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes with root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Maintain dashboards and reporting for system uptime, defect trends, backlog, and service quality.
• Approve and oversee procedures for system management activities, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate enterprise system integrations, data flows, vendor systems, and APIs.
